Another band change followed the release of 2008’s self-titled, with the departure of original bassist, Will Kee. Longtime friend and sometime collaborator, Mike Ostler, joined to make up the other half of the low-end.
Mike’s strength as a multi-instrumentalist and collaborator in songwriting brought new dimensions to songs in development, and the songs that finally made up No One Here Is Reflecting Any Light show that influence.
No One Here Is Reflecting Any Light featured seven new songs, and a cover of singer-songwriter Dave Teichroeb’s The Duster – a favourite song the band frequently played with Dave on shared stages.
Get To The Highway proved a radio-friendly track, being picked up by CBC affiliate stations across the country.
